Creating a JetBrains Account

All you need to create a JetBrains Account is your email address. If you have more than one email address, take a moment to figure out which one you're going to use and then register with it directly or use a third-party authentication provider.

Which email address to use

If you already have JetBrains licenses

When creating an account to access any JetBrains licenses you already have, use the email address that your licenses are associated with. This may be:

  • The email that you entered when buying or requesting your licenses.
  • The email that your organization administrator used to assign a license to you.

If you have several licenses associated with different email addresses, use any of these emails to register. Once you've created an account, link your other email addresses to it to have all your licenses in one place.

If you don't have any JetBrains licenses yet

You can use any email address that you have access to.

When buying or requesting any JetBrains licenses, make sure to provide the same email address that you used to register. This way, you'll be able to access your new licenses from your account.

Register with your email address

  1. Go to the JetBrains Account portal.
  2. Enter your email address in the sign-up form at the bottom of the page and click Sign up
  3. Check your inbox for an email from us. Follow the instructions in the email to create a password and complete your registration.
  4. That's it! You can now use your email address and password to sign in to JetBrains software and services.

Register using a third-party provider

  1. Go to the JetBrains Account portal.
  2. Click on the icon of your authentication provider on the sign-in form. You'll be prompted to create a password and complete your account registration.
  3. That's it! You can now use this authentication provider to sign in to JetBrains software and services.
To sign in to older versions of JetBrains software that don't support authentication via third-party providers, use your email address and the password you created in the previous step.
