If you lost access to your mobile device, try one of the following options.
Sign in using a recovery code
Recovery codes are 8-character codes that you receive when setting up two-factor authentication. If you have your codes, enter one of them instead of a one-time code when signing in. For more information, see How do I sign in with a recovery code?
If you can't find your recovery codes, contact us for assistance. Our team can disable 2FA for your account.
Before we do so, we'll need to make sure that the account belongs to you. To restore access to your account as quickly as possible, please provide some means of identification when submitting your request:
- A copy of a license certificate or invoice from your previous purchase.
- Your legal ID.
- If you’re using a free educational license:
- The academic email address associated with your license.
- A student or teacher ID, or another form of supporting documentation to certify your academic position.
When we confirm your identity, we’ll disable 2FA for you so that you can sign in with your regular password only.
Once you restore access to your account, we strongly recommend that you enable 2FA again to protect your JetBrains licenses and personal information from unauthorized access. Make sure to save your recovery codes to avoid getting locked out of your account in the future.
