I’m an instructor at a training company, bootcamp, online course, or similar program. Am I eligible for a free license? Can my students get free licenses?

Free individual educational licenses are granted only to faculty at accredited schools, colleges, and universities running programs longer than one year, so instructors of short-term, commercial, or online courses aren't eligible for that particular license.

If you create and teach programming courses, the best fit for you is the JetBrains Course Creators Program.

The JetBrains Teacher Pack for Bootcamps, which previously issued short-term student coupons, is being retired. No new applications are being accepted after October 1, 2026.

If you have any questions regarding free licensing for bootcamps and course participants, reach out to us at bootcamps@jetbrains.com.
