Verified domains in your organization profile

Add and verify your organization’s email domains to improve security and facilitate organization management.

You must have organization administrator permissions to complete these steps. If you need help getting administrator permissions for your company's profile, please contact our Sales team.

Adding verified domains

Adding a verified domain for your organization is a two-step process. First, you add the domain to your organization profile and then confirm its ownership.

Step 1. Add a domain

  1. Log in to your JetBrains Account
  2. In the menu on the left, click on your organization's name.
  3. In the menu under the organization's name, click Administration.
  4. On the administration page, find the Domains section.
    • If you haven’t added domains before, click Add and verify your company domain.
    • If you already have one or more domains and want to add a new one, click Manage.
  5. On the Domains page, enter your organization's domain, e.g.for example, mycompany.com, and click Add domain.

Step 2. Verify your domain

Now we need to confirm that this domain belongs to your organization.

Make sure you have access to your domain registrar

To verify your domain, you’ll need administrator access to your domain registrar or DNS host. If you don’t know how to access it, contact the domain administrator in your organization for assistance.

Add the verification code to your domain’s DNS records

  1. Copy the verification code you see on the Domains page.
  2. Go to your domain registrar or DNS host. Follow the instructions provided by your domain host to add a new DNS TXT record.
  3. Paste the verification code into the Value field of the new record.
  4. Save your TXT record.

That's it – your part is done! Now we’ll need to wait for your domain registrar to publish the new record. It may take up to 72 hours.

We’ll check your domain’s DNS records every hour and notify you by email once verification is completed. You’ll also see the verification status change on the Domains page in your organization profile.

Maintaining domain verification status

Keep the verification code in your domain's DNS records for as long as this domain is listed in your organization profile. We’ll check the records daily to confirm that this domain still belongs to you.

A domain will lose its verification status if:

  • Someone deletes or changes the DNS TXT record that contains the verification code.
  • The domain becomes unreachable.

If this happens, we’ll notify you by email and provide instructions on how to restart verification once the issue is fixed.

Removing domains

If your company no longer uses a specific domain, you can remove it from your organization profile:

  1. Follow steps 1–4 from the instructions above to open the Domains page.
  2. On the Domains page, find the domain your organization no longer uses and click Remove next to it.
