Cancel a personal subscription
These instructions are for personal subscriptions. If you're an organization admin, see Cancel a commercial subscription.
You can cancel your personal subscription at any time. Once canceled, it will remain active until the end of your current billing period and won't renew after expiration.
If you want to switch to another product or a different billing cycle, consider updating to your current subscription instead of canceling.
What happens when you cancel
When you cancel your subscription, you’ll retain access until your current billing period ends. To see when your subscription expires, check the Billing date in your subscription details in your JetBrains Account.
Your subscription won't renew after it expires, and you'll no longer receive payment reminders. If you’d like to keep the reminders but don't want to be charged automatically, consider disabling automatic renewal instead.
Refunds
Canceling a subscription does not automatically result in a refund. If you’re eligible, you can request one within the specified timeframe. All requests are reviewed individually and granted at JetBrains’ discretion.
Continuity discount
JetBrains offers a continuity discount of up to 40% for uninterrupted subscription payments. The discount activates after 12 consecutive months.
If you cancel and let your subscription expire, any continuity discount will be lost. If you renew later, you’ll need to pay the full renewal price, and previous months of uninterrupted use won’t count toward the discount.
Cancel a subscription
- Log in to your JetBrains Account.
- Find the subscription that you want to cancel and click Cancel subscription.
- In the dialog that pops up, click Confirm.
