No, generally, a credit card is not required to evaluate the software.

Simply download the JetBrains product of your choice to start a free trial. To continue using the product after the trial period ends, you'll need to purchase a subscription.

There is one exception – JetBrains AI. If you're using version 2024.2.1 or later of an IDE with a non-paid license, we might ask you to add a payment method to your JetBrains Account before you can start an AI Assistant trial. Don't worry – the trial is still completely free, and you won't be charged during it or after it ends. Non-paid IDE licenses include:
