Competitive Discount: How to request a purchase

Symptoms

Request to make a purchase of JetBrains products with a competitive discount.

Environment

• Customer type: All customers
• Region: All regions
• Product: All products

Cause

The competitive discount is available only once per product for each customer (either private individual or company). It requires verification of ownership of a qualifying paid competitor's product.

Resolution

1. Contact JetBrains Sales Support and provide:
   a. Attached proof of ownership of the competing product, such as: invoice, receipt, or similar purchase document
   b. The billing address (street, city, zipcode)
   c. The number of licenses to be purchased
2. After the request has been reviewed, Sales Support will confirm whether the competitive discount can be applied and provide a quote
