Renewals: Reducing the number of licenses

Symptoms

The number of licenses should be reduced before the next renewal because some licenses are no longer required.

Environment

• Customer type: Commercial
• Region: All regions
• Product: All paid products

Resolution

1. Unassign the licenses that are no longer required
2. Cancel the unassigned licenses to prevent their renewal
3. If assistance is required, contact Sales Support and provide:
     a. The subscription pack ID, license IDs, or the email addresses of the current end users
     b. The licenses to be cancelled
   3. If applicable, an updated renewal quotation for the remaining licenses will be provided
