Activating JetBrains IDEs: Offline activation code

Symptoms

Unable to activate JetBrains IDE online. An offline activation code is required to complete activation.

Environment

• Customer type: Personal, Commercial 
• Region: All regions
• Product: All IDEs

Resolution

1. Log in to the JetBrains Account associated with the license
   1. Find the license that needs to be activated offline
   2. Click Download activation code for offline usage to download a ZIP file
   3. Open the Downloads folder and extract the ZIP file
   4. Locate the two activation code text files. Choose the file that matches the IDE version
   5. Open the JetBrains IDE
   6. If the activation dialog does not appear, go to Help | Register and click Activate New License
   7. Under Get license from, select Activation code
   8. Drag the correct text file for the IDE version into the activation dialog
   9. Click Activate
2. If the activation code cannot be located, contact Sales Support and provide:
   a. The order number, invoice number, or license ID
