Personal license: Updating the license holder's name after a legal name change

Symptoms

The name associated with a personal license needs to be updated.

Environment

• Customer type: Personal, Students
• Region: All regions
• Product: All products

Resolution

1. Contact JetBrains Sales Support
2. Submit a request to update the name associated with the personal license
3. Provide documentation confirming the legal name change, such as:
   - A government-issued ID showing the updated name, or
   - An official legal name change certificate or equivalent document
4. After the documentation has been verified, the name associated with the license will be updated
