Subscription pack: Adding a new user

Symptoms

A license for a new user should be added to an existing subscription pack during renewal.

Environment

• Customer type: Commercial
• Region: All regions
• Product: All paid products

Cause 

An expired license can be renewed and assigned to a new user.

Note: Commercial licenses purchased on or after January 2, 2025, are not eligible for the continuity discount.

Resolution

1. Log in to JetBrains Central Console
2. In the sidebar under Licensing, select Licenses
3. Use search or filters to find the license(s) to be renewed and select them
4. Select Upgrade and then, in the dropdown menu, click Renew to go to checkout and pay online, or click Get quote to request a quote
5. Once the license is renewed, assign it to the new user
6. In case any assistance is needed, contact Sales Support and provide:
   1. The subscription pack ID
   2. The license ID of the expired license, if applicable
   3. The product required for the new user
